How to get to the Goan Festival and important information for the visitors. PDF Print E-mail

Entrance
: Adults £2.50, Children under 16 free.

Car Park: Mitcham Common Car Park
 
Pedestrians: Gate 2 entrance at Festival Site


Note:

Stallholders’& disabled vehicles only are authorised on school site. All other vehicles (inclusing coaches) must use MitchamCommonPark.

A FREE shuttle service will operate from this car park or those having difficultie in walking.


Use Bus 264 (from West Croydon or Tootin Broadway). Bringing your card wil cost
£5.00/car.


A FREE shuttle service will operate from Therapia Tram Station.


2 Bars will be available on site. However, please note that TAP WATER in the kitchen is perfectly safe. – Please bring a hat or parasol with you.

Travel information:

Road:
From the M25 turn off at Junction 7 and follow the A23 (via the M23) to Croydon, or junction 6 (via the A22) joining the A23 at Purley. Follow the A23 (Purley Way) and take the first left at the roundabout after ‘Sainsbury’s Homebase’. The school entrance is 500 metres on the right after the CroydonCemetery.

Bus: The 264 bus route is within walking distance of East Croydon train station and runs via West Croydon train station and West Croydon bus depot. The route terminates at Tooting Broadway Underground Station.

Train: Frequent services run from London (Victoria and LondonBridge station) to East and West Croydon station.

Tramlink: Frequent services run on the Croydon to
Wimbledon route, with ‘Therapia Lane Tram Stop’ within walking distance of the school.

If possible please avoid arriving by car!

                               !!  Attention:   Doctors Orders !!

Please do not despair if you cannot get bottled water - it is SAFE to drink water from the school canteen; plastics cups will be provided.
If it is a hot day please wear a hat and make sure that you do not lounge in the sun for long - also please drink plenty of water and do try and sit in the shade.
